The Young Adult Leadership Team had its first meeting: an overnight retreat at the St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Centre on September 20-21. Thirteen young adults, ages 18-25 (-ish) gathered for prayer and community building as the team gets ready for a busy year in the diocese. They spent time praying and reflecting on how God works abundantly in their lives, and how they can share their gifts with the Church.
Members of the Young Adult Leadership Team gather monthly for formation, and assist with various youth ministry initiatives in the Diocese, including Confirmation retreats in parishes and World Youth Day at Home. They are excited to be helping with planning for other events happening this year as well.
