Young Adult Leadership Team Finishes a Big Year

After leading retreats across the Diocese, it was time for the members of the Young Adult Leadership Team to rest. Eight of the approximately twelve leaders gathered at the Marguerite Bourgeoys Centre in Summerside on June 2-3.

The Leadership Team spent their time reflecting on how God has been at work in their personal lives and their ministry on the Leadership Team. They used different moments of the Ignatian Examen, in group conversation, and personal reflection to see how the Holy Spirit might be leading them and the team as we wrap up the year.

The retreat concluded the busiest year for the Leadership Team. Not only was this the largest team to date, they also facilitated twelve Confirmation retreats, and two LEAP Retreats over the year. Collectively they travelled over 600km, from Georgetown to Tignish. Among the leaders this year, three were returning, and the others were new to the team, and at least five countries were represented.
