Young Adult Leadership Retreat – September 20-21, 2024
Are you a young adult (aged 18-25) in the Diocese of Charlottetown? Do you want to meet other young adults? Grow in your faith? Practice leaderships skills? The Young Adult Leadership Team is for you!
We start our year with an overnight retreat. This retreat is for any young adults (aged 18-25) who are interested in joining the Young Adult Leadership Team for the 2024-2025 Ministry Year. The retreat is hosted at the St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Centre in Summerside, PEI, Sept. 20-21. Drives are available, and there is no cost for participants to attend.

About the Retreat
The Theme: Abundance. We all have strengths and weaknesses, and we know that God can work through (or in spite of them) – but sometimes it’s hard to understand how we are being invited to use them to build God’s Kingdom. We’ll spend some time praying and reflecting on how God is inviting each of us to help build up the Church in our Diocese.
What to expect: A relaxed time with other young adults who want to grow their faith in a supportive community. We’ll have time for fun and laughter, as well as time for conversations and personal prayer.
What to bring: comfortable clothes; toiletries; a notebook and pen; your rosary, bible, journal, or any other prayer resources you use

About the Young Adult Leadership Team
The Young Adult Leadership Team provides an opportunity for young adults to grow in their faith, meet new people, and learn valuable leadership skills along the way. The team meets regularly for prayer, friendship, and formation. Each time we focus on a different skill, such as giving a testimony, leading a small group, or running games.
The Leadership Team also helps plan and run events in the Diocese of Charlottetown. Most often this is Confirmation retreats for parishes. Other events included Steubenville Youth Retreat, Steps for Justice Solidarity Walk, and World Youth Day at Home.
